Middle-Eastern Wedding in San Diego

The holidays are a magical time, and for Ayla and Alaa, their wedding, which took place just after Thanksgiving, was equally as magical.

Their wedding paid respect to their Middle-Eastern backgrounds: traditional middle-eastern food, live music, entertainment and dance, and elegant décor and accents in the bride’s favorite colors. The flowers were an amazing collection of purples, pinks, and whites, all in varying shades and combinations.

In fashion with many traditional middle-eastern weddings, the bride and groom sat and dined on an elevated platform, which showcased the couple as the focus of the night. The well-decorated lounge area was adorned with a beautiful gold arch, provided by Enticing Tables, and simple, yet elegant white candles.

The wedding honored many of the couple’s cultural traditions, and in the presence of family and friends, Ayla and Alaa’s wedding was truly a lovely celebration.

Emilio Azevedo Photography did a wonderful job capturing all moments of this lovely wedding! Some of my favorite shots of the couple were actually from the pre-reception photo shoot. Emilio took the couple to Harbor Island and Balboa Park, and the beautiful San Diego sunset and scenery proved to be the perfect backdrop for this special couple.
