I am excited to share with you Marwa and Rami’s Downtown San Diego Bayfront wedding! There were so many beautiful specifics that it was hard to choose which pictures to share, but here are a few that will give you a good feel for the details and the love that filled the room.

Marwa and Rami held their reception at the Marriott Bayfront San Diego, situated in between the bright blue San Diego water, and the modern high rise. Not only was this a great San Diego wedding venue, but this wedding location served as a backdrop into the beautiful night! There are so many wedding venue options in San Diego, and if you have the opportunity to include San Diego’s beautiful views, then go for it! 

The wedding reception was a mixture of bold and romantic elements that tied the room together. The wedding decor consisted of blush florals that made up a series of centerpieces on each table. Each table had one larger floral centerpiece that had light pink, creme, and lavender roses with green accents. Surrounding the large rose floral centerpiece, were a variety of mini vases containing roses, hydrangeas, and pink garden rosettes. The wedding floral design was accented by light pink long stemmed candles, as well as mini candle votives. The variety of florals and candles added depth and detail to the romantic decor. 

To accent the modern florals were gold stainless steel dining chairs that created a nice contrast to the delicate centerpieces. Each guest received a custom made placeholder with their name written in Arabic calligraphy. The favor was a representation of the couple’s native language, and was a huge hit with the guests! The unique Arabic calligraphy was also seen on the seating chart, that stood in front of tall green hedges. 

Now let’s talk dessert! The beautiful wedding cake made by Symphony Sweets was modern, simple, and incorporated the pastel color scheme. The watercolor effect on the cake boldly stood out against the bright white frosting and gold details. Other mini sweets were featured on the dessert table for guests to enjoy. 

Looking at the room as a whole, you can see how all of the romantic bold and modern elements came together perfectly alongside the San Diego Waterfront in the background. Guests enjoyed dancing all night on the bright white dance floor, and also enjoyed the San Diego skyline. Marwa and Rami’s wedding is true wedding inspiration and proof that it is always a good idea to mix it up! Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
